for anyone who has lost someone this holiday...

Our Family Christmas Card 1955...(yep, I am the baby girl)....

For any of you that have lost anyone this holiday season....may you be able to put one foot in front of the other and walk ......

may you find the moments to remember and smile that smile that only you and your loved one would understand...

may you find special moments of peace while you are remembering....

and may you take joy in what you have around you now......today...

for what you have with you today....and for memories...that will never leave you

I know what a difficult Christmas this is for you and I send you my thoughts and prayers.

Both my husband and I lost a first cousin this holiday season.

Thank you for the wonderful advice.

This is so difficult to put into words, I lost my mother this morning at 7am. She was 84 and I thought I had accepted the fact that she was very close to being with her own Mother soon. Iremembered you today and thought of how beautifully you had written of your Mom. I felt the need to re-read your tribute. I can't express to you how thankful I am to you for your caring and helpful words. I now know that nothing prepares you for this loss of friendship and deep love that I feel for my Mom. I will put one foot in front of the other and cherish my memories. Thank You my Ebay Friend. God Bless. Suzanne

Dear Cathi, it has been only a day since my beloved father passed away. The grief is so deep. I took your advice and put old photos of my Dad as well as current photos and put them throughout the house. I even have photos of him on the fridge. His sweet face is everywhere for me to look at and love. Thank You again for your support at this difficult time for all of us who have lost a loved one this Holiday season. Sandra
